At Cambridge Day Nursery (CDN), we believe that children are always learning. This does not need to be through structured activities but simply through play, and it is very important that each child is seen as a unique individual. Our staff provide stimulating and exciting opportunities for children to learn through play. Every child has a ‘Key Person' who is responsible for creating a learning journey that is shared with you at home.
We have developed our own ethos which include free-access and using creative arts with children – such as dance, music and yoga. Free-access is more commonly known as ‘free-flow’; it means that children can choose which environment they wish to learn in, whether it is inside or outdoors.

67a Milton Road,
Cambridge Day Nursery has been running since 1978, providing excellent care & education throughout the years. We have children who are attending now because their parents came to CDN as a child themselves.
"Such a wonderful environment with super committed staff. My children are so happy here. They are fulfilled and busy with daily activities"
The day nursery uses the Early Years Foundation Stage to assess your child’s development, observing and guiding the child’s development through play.
Places at our nursery are allocated on the basis of where the child lives and what local provision is available. All three and four year olds are entitled to 15 hours free early learning per week. It can be claimed the term after their 3rd birthday. If your child is attending our nursery we will send you the paperwork you need to make the claim. You can get more information here.
