Toddlers are unique and deserve respectful understanding of how special this stage of development is. We were all toddlers once, and some of us will have vivid memories of exploring snow or playing in rain.

Being two is probably the most explosive period of development on a child’s journey through childhood, so rightly deserves the best care from our Educators. CDN (Cambridge Day Nursery) Educators have knowledge of specialist early years development and have a full range of ways to support & encourage them through their personal and language development.

Toddlers are busy discovering and investigating the world around them. They are wishing to explore this world with the support of a warm, loving dedicated person, making our key person system invaluable to this age group.

We recognise that toddlers also need that support and understanding that comes from Five to Thrive (https://fivetothrive.org.uk/approach/). Are staff are trained in five to thrive and have attended specialised training for under 3’s.
